Campground is very quiet which is great. However, there is NO flush toilet only PortaJohn in several locations. They don't get clean daily, so it smells bad after 24 hours. So, if you are looking for a flush toilet, this isn't it for you. There is, however, hot showers. Glad we only stayed there for 2 nights because without flush toilet that's all I can handle. Melissa is a very nice lady.
What a find! This was our 1st visit to Jonica Gap to watch the Eclipse and they definitely made customers for life! What Melissa and Paula have done with this beautiful slice of North Georgia paradise is incredible. They have thoughtfully thought of everything. From the port a potties with running water sinks to wash up, to the showers, the herb garden, the wooden platforms for your tent, the beautiful clean camp sites, the picnic area, yard games the list goes on and on. And to boot they have a small general store that you can pick up small camping stuff ice, firewood and even some ice cream!! It's rustic camping at it's finest! Thank you Melissa and Paula for sharing your beautiful property with us. You guys are amazing people and I'm glad to call you a friend now!!! Can't wait to come back ASAP and bring our kids back!!!
Quiet out of the place camping sites, but close drive to lots of cool hikes, the owner is super cool, firewood available, Camp store in the office, nice bath house with hot water, and a pond that is stocked with trout and station to clean your fish.
To the review that said the owners were rude is the farthest thing from the truth about them. They are warm, welcoming, kind and caring people. And they do make a few rounds but of course they do. They check on bathrooms, change out trash bags, pick up trash from camp sites etc. They are in no way intrusive!
Stayed for two nights and enjoyed the campgrounds. Kids had an awesome time. We caught trout and a brim in about two hours of fishing . We stayed at a tent site with a brook running right next to it, providing for a calming sound the entire time. It is a great place to getaway. No cell service, so throw the tablets and phones in the car and enjoy. Great price for the size of site. Trash cans and porta pottys everywhere for convenience. 20 minutes from Blue Ridge town / lake . For to feed the fish at both ponds. Owner is on top of her stuff. Will definitely be going back this summer and inviting friends .

Perfect place to pitch tent and relax! We had 4 tents in our group and all the sites were perfect. Beautiful grounds and showers available. The portapodies were little rough but to be expected when there are no running water toilets. Owner was a delight and very accommodating! Location is def in middle of no where which is a plus. If your addicted to your social media reception is sketchy which was fine with me. The true junkies were standing around the office to get their wifi fix so if that's your thing, you're in luck. Stream by our camp site that was very relaxing. This place is what true camping is meant to be.
